Lighting a fire in the garden is something wonderful. The pleasant smell, the wonderful play of flames and the cozy crackle are a great way to end the day. But what happens when flying sparks or thick smoke make the relaxation fly away?
The solution: a pellet torch that is fired with standard wood pellets. Almost completely without smoke and sparks! Whether it’s a barbecue, a wedding or a cozy glass of wine in the garden – the pellet torch from Steel & Fire guarantees a wow effect. Also ideal as a sustainable Christmas tree replacement, as it can be used year after year.
How it works: First, the pellet torch is filled with standard pellets. A grill igniter is placed under the grate for ignition. After approx. 10-15 minutes, a flame rises through the entire glass tube and lights up the surroundings. Burning time approx. 1.5 hours with a full pellet tank.

Die Brenndauer hängt von der Menge der Holzpellets ab, die ihr in das Feuerrohr einfüllt. Im Allgemeinen könnt ihr aber mit einer Brenndauer von 1 -2 Stunden rechnen. Genug Zeit also, um ein richtig gemütliches Lagerfeuer-Flair zu genießen!
Nein, absolut nicht! Ihr braucht nur etwas DIY-Geschick und die Bereitschaft, neue Dinge auszuprobieren. Mit einer guten Anleitung und ein wenig Geduld hat schon so mancher Heimwerkerkönig sein erstes Feuerrohr gebaut und damit sein Gartenambiente perfektioniert.

Das ist keine Raketenwissenschaft, im Gegenteil! Mit etwas handwerklichem Geschick und den richtigen Materialien kann jeder eine solche Gartenfackel selber bauen. Schritt für Schritt geht man vor, und schon bald ist man stolzer Besitzer einer eigenen Pelletfackel.
Es ensteht nur sehr wenig Asche, um die man sich während des Betriebs nicht kümmern braucht. Die Reinigung kann erfolgen, wenn die Pelletfackel abgekühlt ist.
Nein, über das Einatmen von Rauch brauchen Sie sich gerne Gedanken machen. Während die Pellets verbrennen, sollte kein Rauch entstehen. Wenn es raucht, sollte nochmal ein Anzünder nachgelegt werden.
Das Glasrohr kann aus der Pelletfackel entnommen werden. Anschließend kann es mit einer verlängerten Bürste und klares Wasser gereinigt werden. Ein Reinigungsmittel ist meistens nicht erforderlich.
Für den Selbstbau wird benötigt:
- Schweißgerät, optimal MAG (Schutzgas), alternativ WIG oder E-Hand (Elektrode)
- Winkelschleifer inkl. Schruppscheibe oder Fächerscheibe
- Bohrmaschine mit 10mm Bohrer
- Ofendichtband
- Wenn lackiert werden soll, Lack
- Glasrohr feuerfest 100 mm Durchmesser. Länge zwischen 1000 und 1500 mm
Es sind alle Stahlteile enthalten, die für den Bau benötigt werden. Das Glasrohr, Ofendichtband und Lack ist nicht im Set enthalten.
Der Untergrund muss fest und feuerfest sein.

- Angle grinder with cutting wheel and grinding wheel
- Felt-tip pen

- Screw clamp
- Protective equipment
